A little bit about Little Ol' Me

As of today, I have 3 amazing children.  C is a 16 year old boy, A is a 3 year old girl and D is a 2 year old boy.  I also, currently, have an international student from South Korea, R is an 18 years old boy.  He is in his 2nd year with us and he's such a blessing to our family.  3 of the 4 are in school.  C & R to go a private high school (C attends a Career Tech School in the AM)  and A just started Preschool this week.  Best part is that none of the schools offer busing.  Mornings are a bit hectic.  But some how, I get all 3 of them to school, on time and completely dressed each morning.    D (my little man) then spends the day with Mommy.  Ahhhhh, alone time with Mommy.  He's on my lap right now.  C & R both play soccer.  C has been playing since he was 4 years old.  This is R's first year.  R also plays basketball, which is his favorite sport.

My husband... where do I begin.  The Hub Man is in his 17th year of college.  He has many degrees.  He never wants to stop learning.  Kudos to him.  I was done after high school!  He is a Quality Engineer (in training).  He works a minimum of 9 hours a day and attends school 3 nights a week for his Mechanical Engineering Degree.  He is an amazing man of God, an adored father and a loving step father (to C).  I've yet to find anything he cannot do.  We're about to celebrate our 5th year of marriage and he still finds ways to amaze me.  I'm so blessed with him.

Now to Me.  I'm a domestic goddess.  I love cooking, I love finding ways to save money, I love cooking, I love making my own cleaning concoctions so I'm not using harsh chemicals in my home, I love cooking, I love camping, I love cooking and I love spending time with family.  Did I mention that I love to cook?

Before my last 2 children, I was a project coordinator for a local credit union.  But the 50+ hours a week were really cutting into my family time.  So when we found out that D was on his way (A was only 6 months old at the time), we decided it was time for me to quit.  Thank God!  I much rather stay in my jammies all day and keep my hair in a pony tail and spend my day snuggling, creating messes and memories.

I am also learning, day by day, to put all my trust and faith in God.  It is indeed hard at times, I want to control life on my own, put I always end up failing.  When I leave it all to God, He provides, He directs, He protects.  It is amazing to see Him at work.
